Matching Gifts
Many large, and some not-so-large, employers have a matching gift program. Qualifying donations are often matched up to a predesignated limit. What this means, for example, is a $100 donation will be matched with $100 thereby doubling the initial donation. Some employers may even have a double match making your $100 donation worth $300. Still other employers will match volunteer time with cash. Talk to your human resources department for more information and consider participating in the matching gift program. This is an easy way to make your donation go further.
