In her role at Swords to Plowshares, Amy directs the Policy department, which conducts public policy research regarding veterans' health, access to benefits, and socioeconomic well-being. She also oversees Swords to Plowshares' Combat to Community™ veteran culture education and technical assistance and re-granting programs. Since 1999, Amy has dedicated her career to public health policy, with a particular focus on supporting trauma survivors. Amy received her undergraduate degree from Mills College and her J.D. from the Hastings College of the Law. She is a member of State Bar of California.
