Christopher (Chris) Adame currently serves as Vice President of Community Relations for Wells Fargo, working with community-based organizations, community leaders, and Wells Fargo employees to address community needs through grant making and volunteerism. Chris also maintains a role with the United States Army Reserve. He leads a unit of elite trainers, known as Drill Sergeants, as the unit’s Senior Enlisted Advisor (First Sergeant). Chris’ Army career spans over 17 years between Active-Duty and Reserve service, and includes two deployments to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Inherent Resolve (2007-2009, 2010-2011). Chris is a former client and employee of Swords to Plowshares where he served in various roles within their Supportive Services for Veterans and Families before transitioning to the Employment and Training department. Chris is incredibly humbled to be a member of the Swords to Plowshares board, as the organization has been inextricably tied to his life’s most triumphant accomplishments, and he hopes to ensure other veterans and their families continue to have the opportunities that he and his family had.
