Maile is an attorney at the San Francisco law firm, Keker, Van Nest & Peters, where she specializes in high-stakes complex civil litigation. Her clients have included established companies, start-ups, and executives across a broad range of industries. Maile also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular interest in immigration, prisoners' civil rights, and veteran benefits. Before becoming a lawyer, Maile was military intelligence captain in the U.S. Army and served in Afghanistan and Kuwait. Originally from Idaho, she received her J.D. from Harvard Law School. Maile now lives in San Francisco with her husband (also an Army veteran), two daughters, and ornery cat.
